Private palliative care

At Badby Park our goal is to prevent and relieve suffering and to improve the quality of life for people facing serious, complex illness. Palliative care is offered with curative and all other appropriate forms of medical treatment.

The Meadows Care Centre at Badby Park

The Palliative Care Program integrates the physical, psychological and spiritual aspects of care, offering patients a support system that enables them to live as actively as possible for as long as possible. Here, we emphasize relief from pain and other distressing symptoms. Our services include a support system that helps residents and their families understand and manage the experiences, emotions and challenges associated with the illness.

Our care facilities are set amidst 50 acres of beautiful historic parkland and represent a unique setting for care and for therapy. We can accommodate overnight stays by family members and are easily accessible from the rest of the country via the M40 and the M1.

Palliative Care is normally funded through local social service or NHS authorities. However we have many service users who are privately funded either on a permanent or respite basis.
