The Meadows Care Centre
The Meadows Care Centre is a unique and spacious purpose-designed environment providing
24 specialist en-suite nursing care bedrooms with an enclosed courtyard and a beautifully
landscaped sensory walled garden.
The Meadows’ highly skilled multi-professional team care for and support people in a safe
homely environment, designed to allow freedom of movement irrespective of complexity of
condition or physical ability.
The care team have specialist skills and knowledge in caring for people with long term and
progressive neurological conditions that have complex healthcare needs such as:-

- Early Onset Frontal Temporal Dementia
- Huntington’s Disease
- Alcohol related conditions
- Parkinson’s Disease / Supra Nuclear Palsy (PSP)
- Lewy Body Disease
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Motor Neurone Disease
- Cerebral Haemorrhagic Conditions
- Epilepsy
- Myalgic Encephalitis (ME) / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
- Other rare or unclassified neurological disorders, including those with difficult and diverse
behaviours.

Each resident will have a Care Pathway developed in partnership with their families and carers to ensure the delivery of the highest standard of Evidenced Based Care.
The Care Pathway is developed after completion of various comprehensive professional and risk assessments that are designed to maintain the dignity and respect of each individual.
The Meadows can facilitate day care and flexible respite stays that provide opportunities for the provision of future permanent care in an already familiar and safe environment.
