The consultant-led care philosophy recognises that some residents may benefit from a slowerpace of rehabilitation or may require a more specialist level of support over differing periods of time, thus allowing an unhurried approach towards the delivery of person centred care. A key focus of the rehabilitation process is to promote confidence, physical and emotionalwellbeing.
As part of the rehabilitation programme we encourage participation in individualised therapeuticand social activities programmes. We welcome involvement in these activities from families, friends and the wider community.
To enable our residents to fully engage and participate in the rehabilitation process, the facilitiesfor therapy are available in the fully equipped therapy room, which has uninterrupted views over rolling countryside emphasising the accessible outdoor spaces that we encourage residents and their families to use as well as more individualised rehabilitation equipment and facilities within
the spacious care centre itself.
Alternative therapies are also available as part of the specialist Rehabilitation team of Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Neuropsychiatry and Psychology and Speech and Language therapy.
